Third Way is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization dedicated to promoting moderate Democratic values and policies. The Senior Director will have the opportunity to lead a critical initiative in creating a Moderate Democratic Talent Bank. This position will create and operate the talent bank to locate, advocate, and promote exceptional candidates and track and monitor government positions for a wide range of positions, including in Democratic administrations, congressional offices, committees, and political campaigns.
Leading this initiative will afford the Senior Director the opportunity to build their own team, partner with Third Way executives, and play an integral role in building a major component of an expanded and more powerful centrist Democratic infrastructure. Reporting to the President of Third Way, the Senior Director will determine and approve the execution of the strategy and communicate the organization-wide initiative.
The ideal candidate must be someone who:
- has substantial experience with talent acquisition;
- possess a passion for center-left politics;
- demonstrates strong project management with excellent communication skills to help build and grow the infrastructure of a team;
- understands federal government hiring and appointment practices;
- utilizes creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and resourcefulness;
- maintains a strong and diverse network;
- has strong management, organizational, and leadership skills;
- would bring a wealth of ideas and strategies to the role.
Skills and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years' experience in recruiting or relevant field

- Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally

- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree or above in a related field preferred
