The CEO of the Brisbane 2032 Organising Committee is seeking to appoint a critical member to the Executive team, the Chief Sport Officer. The Chief Sport Officer will be responsible for the design and implementation of the Brisbane 2032 Sport Program and managing all relations with participating International Federations, National Olympic Committees, and National Paralympic Committees.

With a goal of providing the athletes the best possible conditions to train and compete at Brisbane 2032, the Chief Sport Officer will work across a range of stakeholders to implement an innovative Sport Program, identify training facilities, develop the competition schedule, create legacy opportunities, lead on athlete engagement, manage entry of athletes, and design test and training programs, among other responsibilities.

The Chief Sport Officer will have extensive experience in delivering international sporting events. They will have established relationships with key sport stakeholders across the Olympic and Paralympic Movement, and extensive knowledge of the international and domestic sports system. A commercial leader, the Chief Sport Officer will have a track record of leading teams, implementing revenue-generating programs, and managing budgets.
