The President / Chief Operating Officer of the Medical Group serves as the executive leader responsible for strategic, operational and financial leadership of Cheyenne Regional’s medical group. This leader drives the quality and transformation of ambulatory care delivery, ensuring alignment with the health system’s mission, vision and strategic priorities. In addition, the President / COO champions clinical excellence and quality, provider engagement, and innovation in care delivery, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Working in close alignment to the health system executive team, the President / COO is responsible for priorities such as access to care, ACO optimization, provider recruitment and retention, service line development, primary care strategy and digital process improvement.

The ideal candidate is a skilled leader with experience in collaborating with both clinical and administrative leaders in a complex, healthcare landscape. This individual should have a track record of leading efficiency, optimization, physician partnerships and business success in an ambulatory setting. The President / COO must develop strong relationships and lines of communication with clinicians, employees, payers, patients, and other community partners – and be self-motivated and results-oriented. The President/COO should have knowledge of modern trends and initiatives in the ambulatory setting and be comfortable leading teams toward shared goals in a matrixed environment.
