Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Technician/Mechanic, based out of their Des Moines IA facility. With over 70 branches nationwide, this company is growing fast and offers substantial opportunity for career advancement.
5+ years of Mechanic/Maintenance experience is highly preferred, and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!
Compensation: $26.00–31.00/hr (DOE)
What You Will Do:
• Responsible for performing PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems (including troubleshooting onboard computer systems), hydraulic systems (booms, outriggers, pumps), brakes and other basic components
• Must work well and communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics
• Some welding repairs (based on skill level.)
Education and Work Experience
• At least 4 years US Military Active Duty experience required
• 5+ years of Mechanic/Maintenance experience (hydraulic and conventional cranes, forklifts, tractor trailers and other miscellaneous equipment) highly preferred.
• Must have creative thinking skills to make continuous improvements
• Class A CDL preferred, not required
