Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Heavy Equipment Operator, based out of their Fall River WI facility. Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, loaders, telehandlers, or other heavy equipment is highly preferred, and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!
Compensation: $22.00–25.00/hr (+ 20% shift premium) + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Open Shifts:
3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-3:00 AM
3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-3:00 AM
Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-5:00 PM
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for safely operating remote-controlled straddle carriers and other heavy material handling equipment to transport large fabricated power generation units (weighing several tons) throughout production facility & outdoor storage yard.
- Support production flow while ensuring safe movement and staging of finished assemblies prior to shipment.
- Position and maneuver finished units measuring approximately 30 feet long by 15 feet high with precision and attention to safety.
- Connect and disconnect lifting straps and rigging while properly positioning carriers for safe transport.
- Stage completed units for additional assembly operations, customer inspection, or shipment.
- Operate large-capacity forklifts and other powered industrial equipment as needed.
Education and Work Experience
- At least 4 years US Military Active Duty experience required
- Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, loaders, telehandlers, or other heavy equipment highly preferred.
