Organization Background
ID Care: New Jersey’s Leading Infectious Disease Specialists
ID Care is a large, physician-led specialty practice dedicated exclusively to infectious diseases. With more than 100 clinicians, ID Care proudly serves patients throughout New Jersey from 10 office locations and over 150 non-office sites including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient settings. Annual revenues exceed $60M. Driven by clinical excellence, compassionate care, and innovation, ID Care is positioned for continued rapid expansion and sustained growth.
In 1998, two independent infectious disease practices merged — evolving into the largest, private, independent infectious disease practice on the East Coast, and the second largest in the United States: ID Care. Today, ID Care is more than New Jersey’s largest network of board-certified infectious disease physicians. ID Care is a dedicated group of clinical leaders, innovators, and researchers, providing every patient served with personalized solutions — all focused on identification, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases. Specializing in nearly every aspect of infectious disease - including HIV, hepatitis, pneumonia, tick-borne diseases, and more - ID Care physicians offer the most effective prevention methods, accurate diagnoses, and state-of-the-art treatments available today.
In early 2024, ID Care and RWJBarnabas Health (RWJBH), one of the leading health systems in New Jersey, entered into a strategic joint-venture partnership. This investment by RWJBH is helping to facilitate further growth and success of the business, while day-to-day operations continue to be led directly by ID Care.
