Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon / Surgicalist

Phoenix Metropolitan Area, Arizona

Korn Ferry has partnered with SAMGI to recruit Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons for several growing programs throughout the Phoenix market, including Mesa, Goodyear, North Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the West Valley.

This is an opportunity to focus exclusively on acute orthopedic trauma within a purpose-built surgicalist model—without the demands of building an elective practice.

Position highlights:

24/7 orthopedic trauma coverage model with one dedicated surgeon per site

Flexible block scheduling, including week-on/week-off or 10-days-on/10-days-off models

Acute orthopedic trauma only; no elective practice-building responsibilities

Two clinic mornings per week, focused on post-operative and trauma follow-up

Strong APP support, generally available during daytime hours

Opportunity to practice a broad spectrum of trauma, including complex pelvis and acetabular injuries

Growing organization with multiple openings and the ability to help shape a new program

Highly competitive compensation structure, with significant earning potential

No non-compete agreement


Candidate requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon

Orthopedic Trauma fellowship training required

Demonstrated experience managing complex orthopedic trauma, including pelvis and acetabular cases

Comfortable working independently in a high-acuity trauma setting

Collaborative, dependable physician who values a team-first culture
