Korn Ferry has partnered with an established law firm in a search for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial Transactional Associate Attorney with a strong desire to advise technology companies in intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, secured financing, and other multidisciplinary transactions.

Ideal candidates will have solid experience in the following areas:
•Thorough legal research/analysis, and structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of technology agreements, including licensing, e-commerce, service, development, and distribution transactions, convertible notes and Y Combinator SAFE Instruments
•Privacy and data security law
•Providing tailored legal advice and solutions that instill client confidence in your legal counsel
•Building and maintaining knowledge of emerging trends, laws, and regulations within technology sectors, integrating this knowledge into client strategies and counsel
Minimum Requirements:
•JD from an accredited law firm
•4+ years of technology-related general corporate experience in a law firm
•In good standing with the Maryland State Bar
•Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate internally & externally
•Knowledge/experience of CARTA a plus
•Strong experience with MicroSoft Suite, document black lining, naming, versioning, proof reading, editing, data rooms, CAP tables
