The Opportunity
FT is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Vice President, Finance, Planning & Analytics (VP, FP&A). This is an outstanding career opportunity for a strategic and results-oriented financial executive to join one of the most highly regarded health systems in the United States. The VP, FP&A will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO, overseeing financial planning and analytics for the health system.
The VP, FP&A leads the annual and long-range financial planning along with key plan success metrics and assumptions. He/she develops the annual integrated strategic financial plans (including the annual operating budget, capital budget, long range financial plan with development and implementation across the system that aligns to the organization’s success measures and key strategic objectives. He/she cascades the system plans into major regions and entities within FT and creates transparency and accountability and is a member of FT’s senior team and serves as strategic partner and liaison on financial matters.

Ideal Experience
• A minimum of eight years senior management in Healthcare System or related field with demonstrated competencies.
• Strong knowledge and skills across finance, with specific deep expertise in the FP&A function.
• Well-versed in the healthcare industry, more broadly, with the ability to utilize market trends to influence strategic planning and remain forward-thinking with innovation, all while keeping a measured, business focus on ultimate success for the organization and community.
• Must have a strong understanding of and demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic management, change management, communications, team building, continuous quality improvement, problem solving, decision making, innovation, financial management, and stewardship of resources.
• Able to influence and generate consensus, reaching across organizational boundaries to collaborate and achieve objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with a variety of individuals, including the executive team, board members, physicians, the public, and external agencies and organizations.
• Track record of strategic financial planning that aligns with population health goals and community wellness initiatives.
