Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Maintenance Mechanic II for their production facility located in the eastern San Diego County CA area.
** MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP **
Compensation: $28.00-40.00/hr (DOE)
What You Will Do:
Responsible for all facility equipment maintenance activities; will assist with troubleshooting and repairs to other production equipment and facility infrastructure as needed, to include CNC machines (HAAS, MAZAK, Akuma, 5-axis CNC Lathes), die heaters, production saws, polishing/grinding machines, forklifts, air compressors, hydraulic and forged pressing equipment, etc.)
- Perform preventive maintenance, fabricate and modify existing equipment as needed
- Document and communicate equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
Education and Work Experience:
- 4+ years of U.S. Military experience (transitioning technicians experienced with hydraulics and mechanical maintenance ideal)
- Must be authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship
- 3+ years experience in mechanical and hydraulic repairs required (familiarity with hydraulic and forged pressing equipment is preferred)
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Experience with welding
