Role Summary:
• Title: FP&A Manager
• Reports To: Senior Manager of FP&A
• Location: Southlake, TX
• Work Arrangement: Onsite
• Team Scope: Join a lean finance organization with direct exposure to the CFO, Senior Manager of FP&A, and senior leadership while partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and other business leaders
• Primary Focus: Own financial modeling, forecasting, cash flow analysis, reporting, and strategic business analysis while helping build scalable FP&A processes and providing leadership with meaningful insights into business performance
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain comprehensive 3-statement financial models incorporating the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
• Own and continuously enhance the company’s financial forecasting model
• Develop and maintain 13-week cash flow forecasts while providing analysis around liquidity, working capital, and cash requirements
• Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles across the organization
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, executive presentations, and management reporting
• Analyze revenue, gross margins, EBITDA, working capital, cash flow, and other key operating and financial metrics
• Partner closely with the CFO and Senior Manager of FP&A to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and key drivers impacting company performance
• Build financial analyses and models to support strategic decisions, investments, growth initiatives, and other business opportunities
• Evaluate capital expenditure opportunities, return on investment, and other strategic investments
• Support M&A, transaction-related analysis, and integration initiatives as opportunities arise
• Assist with debt, capital structure, liquidity, and lender-related analysis
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and other business leaders to understand business drivers and improve financial performance
• Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical resources that provide greater visibility into business performance
• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting, financial processes, and overall FP&A capabilities
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and special projects for the CFO and senior leadership team
• Help build scalable FP&A processes and infrastructure as the organization continues to grow
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
• 3–7 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience
• Experience working within a private equity-backed organization strongly preferred
• Strong financial modeling experience with the ability to build and understand a full 3-statement model
• Experience with cash flow forecasting required; 13-week cash flow forecasting experience is a major plus
• Strong understanding of financial statements, working capital, liquidity, EBITDA, and key business drivers
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial performance analysis
• Ability to analyze financial results and explain why performance is changing rather than simply reporting the numbers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high intellectual curiosity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information and recommendations to senior leadership
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Comfortable operating within a lean, entrepreneurial environment where priorities can change quickly
• Hands-on self-starter who takes ownership, challenges assumptions, and does not wait to be told what to do
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and senior leadership
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base Compensation: Market competitive and commensurate with experience
• Annual Bonus Opportunity: Approximately 10%–15%
