Head of Sales – Cornerstone Health

The Role: Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the Head of Sales will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals & lead generation team in NSW, QLD, VIC & WA (where the lead gen team is based). This role will critically set and drive the sales and relationship management strategy for recruiting Health Care Professionals ensuring the team operates with structure, accountability, and a high-performance mindset. The successful candidate will have a health care sales or recruitment background, and will bring rigour to the sales function, optimise CRM and lead management processes, and collaborate closely with the executive leadership to drive business growth.

Location: Sydney, New South Wales (with interstate travel as required)

Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment / Sales Team Leadership: Lead and manage a geographically dispersed sales / recruitment team, ensuring consistent performance and accountability.
• Drive CRM Strategy and Governance: Implement best-in-class CRM practices (Salesforce) and introduce automation to improve efficiency.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing to enhance the lead-to-hire pipeline and campaign effectiveness.
• Strategic Leader: Provide strategic input to the CBDO and executive team on market trends and recruitment strategies.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure balanced focus across all medical centres, including support for new site launches.
• Drive Cultural Transformation: Drive internal team development, communication, and an overall performance culture.

Candidate Profile
• Proven experience leading sales or recruitment teams, ideally in a high-growth or multi-site environment.
• Strong operational and process improvement mindset in sales and recruitment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change and build high-performing teams.
• Resilient, adaptable, and results oriented.
• Healthcare experience though preferable is not essential; candidates from recruitment, commercial, or service-based sectors are encouraged to apply.
• Sydney office based full time; interstate travel required.
