The School of Medicine seeks a visionary and accomplished leader to serve as the Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education (SADME). Reporting to the Executive Associate Dean for Medical Education, the SADME will oversee the management and leadership of all educational programs, including:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Master of Medical Science Anesthesiology (MMSc)
• Master of Medical Science Genetic Counseling (MMSc)
• Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant (MMSc-PA)
• Bachelor of Medical Science Medical Imaging (BMSc)
• Medical Imaging Certificate Program
• Graduate Medical Education (GME)

The SADME will play a key role in shaping and advancing the school’s educational mission, ensuring curricula meet accreditation standards, align with institutional goals, and reflect best practices in medical education. This leader will also collaborate with educational core leaders, program directors, and healthcare partners to implement strategic initiatives and enhance the quality of educational programs.

The SADME will possess a DO, MD, or MD/PhD or equivalent and extensive experience in curriculum leadership, medical student teaching, and academic administration. They should hold the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor and have a deep understanding of accreditation standards and processes. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential, along with outstanding communication, leadership, and interprofessional collaboration skills. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to innovate and deliver education in formats tailored to health professions, with expertise in partnering with healthcare institutions to advance clinical training opportunities.
