The Firm
Atlanta-based, Emerging private equity fund founded and led by a former senior investment professional at a global tier 1 institutional investment firm, bringing deep investing and sector expertise, institutional process, and a long track record of building and scaling successful investments in technology companies.
The firm is in the early stages of fund formation and is focused on building an investment platform to acquire and build lower middle market technology businesses across enterprise / vertical application software.
The Role
To support this next phase of growth, the Firm is seeking to strengthen its investment team with a critical hire of a Vice President to join and help build the Investment Team. This role is based in Atlanta and will support the Firm’s efforts in sourcing and executing new investments in software sub-sectors. The Vice President will be a senior, highly visible member of the investment team with broad responsibility across deal sourcing, deal leadership, end-to-end execution, and portfolio value creation. The role is designed for a commercially minded investor who can build relationships, originate opportunities, lead workstreams with limited oversight, and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s long-term growth and differentiation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Investment Leadership
• Build and own a repeatable sourcing cadence targeting under-the-radar, founder-led software companies.
• Lead key workstreams on transactions including valuation, diligence, structuring, and negotiation.
• Oversee Associates/SA resources to drive rigorous analysis, process management, and tight execution.
• Draft high-quality investment materials and present recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Manage advisors and third-party diligence providers with an owner’s mindset and cost/ROI orientation.
Portfolio Value Creation & Oversight

• Draft high-quality investment materials and present recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, or principal investing, with a strong track record of leading deals and influencing outcomes.
• Deep exposure to the full investment lifecycle - from sourcing through execution to exit - ideally with sector knowledge in Technology, TMT, Software, would be ideal.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, low-ego, and high resourceful. Someone who takes ownership, moves with urgency, and sees challenges as creative opportunities. Must be comfortable operating in and navigating ambiguity.
• Well-connected across deal channels, founder communities, investment banks, advisors, and LPs.
• A deep commitment to ethical leadership, aligned incentives, and partnership-driven success.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
