The Military Division of Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for a Maintenance Manager in the S. Chicago IL area. For over 100 years, this specialty manufacturing company has been a global provider of engineered metal solutions.
** At least 8 years of relevant experience with Heavy Equipment is REQUIRED. **
* They are preferably seeking candidates with U.S. military LEADERSHIP Experience. *
Compensation: $90,000-100,000k base
What You Will Do:
Responsible for functions related to the maintenance, repair and construction of the equipment, property, and facility, by meeting customer requirements and company quality and safety objectives.
- Position includes the supervision of up to five direct reports.
- Evaluate and analyze data on equipment improvements and report results.
- Display leadership and coach team members to utilize the processes and facilitate problem-solving on the floor.
- Support and supervise the safety and environmental initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience with Heavy Equipment, Hydraulics, Mechanical Hoists, PLCs (Allen Bradley.)
- Experience with forging weight machinery lifts 30-1500 lbs; some High Voltage involved to power that lift.
- Ability to analyze data
- At least 4 years US Military Leadership experience highly preferred.
