The Military Division of Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for a Lead Plant Engineer in Wheeling WV.
* This company is specifically looking for candidates with at least 4 years U.S. Military Leadership experience. US Navy veterans highly preferred. *
Knowledge of / experience with the following is required:
Electrical circuitry and PLC's
Preventative maintenance procedures
Boilers
Air compressors
Welding and Piping
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Electro/mechanical utility and electrical trouble shooting
General equipment and building maintenance
Compensation: $80,000-90,000
What You Will Do:
- Oversee corporate preventative maintenance program
- Work with other associates in a team to accomplish goals
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist in other areas and/or departments as needed
- Supervision of front line maintenance personnel
- Train and develop existing and new maintenance staff
- Design, plan, install, and maintain plant systems
Education and Work Experience
- at least 4 years US Military experience REQUIRED (US Navy veterans preferred)
- 3-5 years of hands on maintenance and leadership experience required.
- Required knowledge of the following:
- Electrical circuitry and PLC's
- Preventative maintenance procedures
- Boilers
- Air compressors
- Welding and Piping
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Electro/mechanical utility and electrical trouble shooting
- General equipment and building maintenance
- Experience with air cylinders, solenoid valves, steam traps, motor starters, gear reducers, inverter drives, or industrial laundry equipment is highly preferred.
